Most of Hongkonger is staying at home as a way to mitigate risk of the coronavirus spreading, so people across the country are trying to get their cocktail fix from their own kitchens. With a little help from search engines, people are looking for everything from frozen daiquiris to martinis, and there are clear trends in each place.
Paloma are popular one. This drink is a Mexican tequila-based cocktail prepared with grapefruit, salt and lime juice when served.. it's satisfying, making it one of the best tequila drinks that's not margarita
Ingredients
- 1 fl oz. pink grapefruit juice (, freshly squeezed)
- 1 fl oz. sparkling water or club soda
- 1½ fl oz. Tequila
- A drizzle of lime juice (, freshly squeezed)
- 1 slice lime
- dash of salt for garnish on the lids
- Garnish with wedges of grapefruit. optional
